Ok, I know he's not furry but, HELP my fish is sick!!!

We bought a Koi from the pet store a couple of days ago.
He has slowed down a bit, hanging more at the top and he has white blotches all over.
I know it's not ich but that's the only thing I do know.

Does anyone have any input...other than 'flush him'....lol

is he in a pond or a bowl? if it's been hot and cold and hot it may have depleted his oxygen or something and it's the water. happened to my neighbor

He is in a tank. I told my husband from what I could find..it seemed to be stress. With being new to our home and the crazy cat sitting there watching him...he's probably frazzled...lol...we moved him to a small tank by himself and he seems to be doing a little better. Yeah, it's just a fish but we hope he pulls out of it.

It sounds like stress....they make some sort of drops that you can put in the water for that...try petsmart....hope he is doing better!

Well, the poor guy just couldn't take it...he's gone :(

The other 3 seem to be doing ok and we are keeping a close eye on them.
