My signature dish - Beef Bourguignon

Sometimes we get put in position where we have company/family over for dinner and we don't want to serve mac and cheese and hot dogs. LOL I worked out a more economical version of Beef Bourguignon - and this serves 6-8

1 pkg of stew beef - $2.50
Salt /Pepper
1/4 lb of bacon - $.75
2 garlic cloves - $.49
2 cups of beef stock/broth - $1.00
1 tbs ketchup $.10
1/2 lb of pearl onions $.50
8-10 carrots - $.69
1/2 lb mushrooms - $1.00
2 cups of red wine - I personally use Cabernet - $3.00 a bottle

Ends up being just over $10 with tax. sounds fancy - tastes awesome and impresses the in-laws

Sounds good.....I will have to give it a try......
