I have had the hiccups for about an hour now. Tried all the remedies and I know and not even my usual ones is working. Starting to get painful now. Any ideas?

Well this might be a little late but a spoon full of sugar always works for me.

I tried sugar, peanut butter and holding my breath. Finally it just quit but I was hurting.

I generally drink a glass of water or try to hold my breath for a while so that I can burp to get the air out of my lungs.

Next time try taking a deep breath and while holding it, drink a full tall glass of water. It's a challenge but it works, at least for me.
