Just Wondering (an informal poll)

I'm thinking about getting into the "sweeps" thing, but I'm scared about privacy and tedium.

Now, would someone mind sharing what all is involved like, REALLY?

Have you found you personal info being compromised in participating in these sweeps?

Has it been tedious for you, or fun?

Do you have to pay taxes on the gifts that you win, as well as any cash prizes?

If you win a prize that you don't want, can you re-sell it for money?

What makes this all worth it for you?

I had an aunt that used to participate and win prizes. I always feel like, maybe there are too many people participating to win, but then again, probably most people feel that way and so there arent' as many participants as one might think, no?
